Summary:

IRON SWORD served as the Program Manager for the West Point Association of Graduates in collaboration with the USMA ODIA and DPW on the design and construction of a new Lacrosse Center located within Michie Stadium at the USMA, West Point, NY. West Point announced the official move-in and opening of their new “top-notch” Foley, Enners, Nathe Lacrosse Center in January 2017. The Center will serve as a hub for the cadet athletes, coaches and staff of the USMA Division I Men's and Women's Lacrosse teams.

Details:

Situated between the north and east stands of Michie Stadium, the LEED-Silver project entails approximately 15,000 gsf of programmed space with a footprint totaling approximately 7,500 sf. The facility includes two locker rooms, two coach locker rooms, central equipment storage, a training station, a physician's office, an A/V equipped Multi-purpose room, integrated ATFP measures and an aesthetic design that harmonizes with the existing campus standard. Additionally, the structure contains two team rooms - with adjacent kitchen and bathroom facilities - that double as event centers, each with a terrace overlooking the playing field at Michie Stadium.

As Program Manager, IRON SWORD coordinated design and construction activities; negotiations and contract development for designers, consultants, and the CM; budget development and management; FF&E process; and overall project management and delivery.
